Fit For An Autopsy is OFF the Bucket List! (And a whole bunch more)

Whoa, long time no talk. It's been about what..... Eight months?

Damn.

Anyways- Last weekend I got to very happily kick Fit For An Autopsy off of my bucket list of bands I'd like to see. However- I will say that I am going to be looking for a headlining show from them because four songs simply was not enough to scratch the absolute rash I've developed for this band.

Moda Center in Portland was a definite switch from the original booking to LA- and honestly I can't say I am mad. Not only was it about (all in all) $1300 cheaper (factoring in flights, hotels etc, etc, etc), I felt like the venue was much more intimate. Event if the 'intimate' aspect as the venue really just translated into having little to no footroom. But hey- lesson learned on that because I fully intend on going to more shows in the Portland area.

I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things, and I'm definitely coming back at this from a new angle I haven't previously come from. (Or at least, I tried and then failed and went back to the hustle culture that's been instilled in I think every Gen-Zer) That every hobby needs to become some kind of side hustle/new income source. Nah, I kind of hate that. I really want to step back into this in the same frame of mind that I did wayyyy back when (when I had no job, and no bills, and the biggest thing I was concerned about was not failing Spanish II). And hopefully trying to find the joy back in writing about things that I love.

Blogging is a dead artform, it's bloated and kinda gross looking but I'm still beating this dead horse and I don't think I'll every truly stop beating it. I'm intentionally moving in a way to consume more 'slow' content. Adapt outside of the three second attention span I have adopted, and the 8 hours of 'small screen' time (phone, tiktok, reels, etc) that has become the norm in my life.

So, I think I'm going to bust out the html courses again, really buckle down and treat this blog like the shrine of my dead wife's myspace page or something.

As it goes.

I've got sooo much footage that I need to update and edit, and ultimatley post. So, when my eyeballs melt out of my head to get all of these videos edited. Either way, at some point I hope to consistently be back on my bullshit :)
