It's Metalcore Monday! (11/10/25)

Happy Monday! A lot of us woke up this morning, drug our asses out of bed- and now we're at work. or, school, or.... I don't know- whatever else you people may be doing. Regardless- it's Monday. That means I bet to unapologetically lean into my disposition to Metalcore and force it upon you all.

As always- the goal is to bring you bands you may (not) of heard of before. We like a refined, broadened pallet here.

The Hunt – “Inside”

It's catch, and it's got all of the fixins' you love from the classic metalcore sound. The band works with producer Sky van Hoff, known for his collaborations with Rammstein, which adds an extra layer of 'punch and polish' (please read that a polish, as in shining and not the country like my editor did) to their sound.

The Swiss quartet has quickly made a name for themselves through their dynamic live shows, performing on legendary stages like Z7, Greenfield, and Summerside Festival. And I for one am excited to see what's coming next!

Oceans In Silhouette x ALYXX – “Under My Skin”

Yea, ok-  it's weird when you first start listening to it but isn't that a good sign? Then you get lovingly smacked in the face by the energy I'm picturing those hurricane shot TikTok videos). Metalcore? Check. Female vocals? Check. Energy? Check.

So duh, check it out.

Ari Bose – “R.I.P.”

God, I can't remember who this artist reminds me of- but it is so reminiscent of my playlists I had in highschool that I HAD to add it in here (and I'm driving myself crazy because it's been just long enough I can't remember who the heck it was). If you like the electronic elements of Grandson, the 'edgy' sound of Get Scared or that era of metalcore, and some tambourines that kinda reminds me of when I still liked Panic! At the Disco (please note: that statement is framed as a compliment, contrary to what many people may believe).
