Stray View Release New Song "Break" (+ Tour With Melrose Avenue)
Stray View is back with a new single, “Break,” out now via Hopeless Records. The rising metalcore outfit (led by former Crown The Empire vocalist Dave Escamilla) continues to build momentum after their last single “Vivid” and a summer tour alongside Sleep Theory.
The new track is described by the band as one of their most aggressive and emotionally charged yet, exploring themes of self-realization and breaking free from toxic relationships.
“To me, this song is about realizing that there are certain people in your life that are takers—and the hurt that comes with the realization that you’re better off without them,” says bassist Jake Lewis. “You can’t win, and when you reach your wits end, you then are blamed for your reaction and forever held in front of that mirror.”
Stray View will hit the road this Spring 2025 on tour with Melrose Avenue and Autumn Kings, kicking off in Houston, TX on April 10th and wrapping up in Las Vegas on May 17th. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 AM local time.
Formed in 2023, Stray View blends elements of metalcore, rock, and electronic music with emotionally introspective lyricism. With Escamilla’s signature vocals, Brandon Rodriguez on guitar, Jake Lewis on bass, and Lukas Vitullo on drums.
If you’re a metalcore girly (which you guys by now already know I am), “Break” is worth the listen. I wont spoil it for you, but be sure to let me know what you think in our Discord Server as always.
If you’ve been listening to bands like Dayseeker, Bad Omens, or Sleep Token, you’ll vibe with this one immediately.
