Overall the festival has quite a hefty lineup, and it's more than likely you haven't heard all of the bands. So, let's go through all of them. All 60-something bands. And yea, I got a lot of this off of Wikipedia, it got pretty daunting.

Avril Lavigne

She'sbeen referred to as "The Princess of Punk" as is well known for her early 2000's release of 'Sk8er Boi' which had been ingrained into the majority of the Dance Dance Revolution games. She was really popular just as a general contrast against other popular stars in the early 2000s like Britney Spears, mainly presenting herself as a skater and more of a tom-girl. Appealing to a different demographic of people, whose music career has been a giant success though, multiple Grammy nominations, etc, etc.

Car Seat Headrest

Car Seat Headrest is an American indie rock band formed in Leesburg, Virginia, and currently located in Seattle, Washington. The band consists of Will Toledo, Ethan Ives, Seth Dalby, and Andrew Katz. Beginning as a solo recording project by Toledo in 2010, Car Seat Headrest self-released 12 albums on the music platform Bandcamp before signing to Matador Records in 2015. Car Seat Headrest would begin touring as a full band the following year.

AllMusic biographer Mark Deming wrote that Car Seat Headrest created "moody and introspective lo-fi pop tunes that are melodic but structurally ambitious at once".Writing for Pitchfork, Jeremy Gordon stated that on Teens of Denial, "Will Toledo reaffirms that he is ahead of the pack as an imaginative singer-songwriter, capable of crafting dynamic indie rock." Ian Cohen of Pitchfork also described Toledo's music as "dense, confounding music that most often captures the giddy thrill of having access to recording equipment, of finally put a sound to the voice in your head." Rolling Stone described Making a Door Less Open as "an immersive and adventurous album that sounds polished, but never slick, a well-executed experiment in cross-genre pollination that heightens Toledo’s best songwriting impulses."

Taking Back Sunday

Taking Back Sunday is an American rock band from Long Island, New York. The band was formed by guitarist Eddie Reyes and former bassist Jesse Lacey of Brand New in 1999. The band's members are Adam Lazzara (lead vocals), John Nolan (lead guitar, keyboards, vocals), Shaun Cooper (bass guitar), and Mark O'Connell (drums), accompanied by Nathan Cogan (guitar) for their live performances. Nolan and Cooper initially left the group in 2003 before rejoining in 2010.

The band has released studio albums with various past members Fred Mascherino (guitar, vocals), Matthew Rubano (bass guitar), Matthew Fazzi (guitar, keyboards, vocals), and Eddie Reyes (guitar). Louder Now (2006) was the band's breakout mainstream album, notably because of the popularity of its lead single "MakeDamnSure". The album sold over 900,000 copies and peaked at No. 2 on the United States Billboard 200, surpassing the band's previous Billboard 200 peak in 2004 at No. 3 with Where You Want to Be.

Before the release of their first studio album Tell All Your Friends (2002), they released Taking Back Sunday's EP in 2001, when the band featured former lead vocalist Antonio Longo. At that time, the EP received very little attention, eventually resulting in the band seeking a new lead singer, Adam Lazzara. Lazzara had at first joined the band as its bassist, replacing original bassist Jesse Lacey (who later formed Brand New) during the EP's recording sessions, before moving to vocals following Longo's departure. John Nolan and Shaun Cooper left the band in 2003 only to rejoin in 2010, in time for the band's release of their eponymous album Taking Back Sunday (2011). The album was produced by Eric Valentine and released through Warner Bros. Records.

In 2014, the band released their sixth studio album Happiness Is to positive reviews. The album reached number 10 on the US Billboard 200. In 2016, they released their seventh album Tidal Wave.

Alkaline Trio

Alkaline Trio is an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Since 2001, the band has consisted of Matt Skiba (vocals, guitar), Dan Andriano (vocals, bass) and Derek Grant (drums, vocals).

Founded in late 1996 by Skiba, bassist Rob Doran, and drummer Glenn Porter, Alkaline Trio released its debut single, "Sundials", in 1997. Following its release, Doran departed from the band and was replaced by Andriano. The band subsequently recorded an EP, For Your Lungs Only (1998), and its debut studio album, Goddamnit (1998). Following the release of the band's second album, Maybe I'll Catch Fire (2000), Porter left the band and was replaced by Mike Felumlee for its subsequent album, From Here to Infirmary (2001).

Backed by the singles "Stupid Kid" and "Private Eye", From Here to Infirmary significantly increased the band's exposure, and its follow-up, Good Mourning (2003), charted highly on the Billboard 200. Good Mourning marked the recording debut of current drummer Derek Grant. In 2005, the band released Crimson which expanded upon the band's punk rock influences, with prominent overdubs and additional instrumentation, and continued with this direction on Agony & Irony (2008), which was released on Epic Records.

In 2010, the band released This Addiction on its own label Heart & Skull and Epitaph. Recorded in the band's hometown of Chicago, with early producer Matt Allison, the album was a conscious effort by the band to return to their punk rock roots; it became the highest-charting album of their career, debuting on the Billboard 200 at No. 11. In 2011, the band celebrated its 15-year anniversary with the release of Damnesia, which featured new, acoustic-based recordings of songs from across the band's career. The band's eighth studio album, My Shame Is True, was released on April 2, 2013.

Their ninth album, Is This Thing Cursed? was released on August 31, 2018, followed by a three-track EP titled E.P. which was released on March 19, 2020.

Jxden

Jaden Isaiah Hossler (born February 8, 2001), known professionally as Jxdn (stylized in all lowercase and pronounced "Jaden"), is an American singer, songwriter, and TikTok personality from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Hossler rose to prominence on the video-sharing app TikTok in 2019 before beginning a music career in early 2020 with the release of his debut single "Comatose".

Hossler began his music career in February 2020, when he self-released his debut single "Comatose".The single caught the attention of American musician Travis Barker, who signed him to his label DTA Records in a joint deal with Elektra Records. In May and July 2020, respectively, Hossler released the singles "Angels & Demons" and "So What". In August 2020, Hossler released the song "Pray" in which he opens up about his depression and suicidal thoughts, using the song to fundraise for suicide prevention. In October 2020, it was announced that Hossler was signed into a global co-publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music. On October 21, 2020, he released a collaboration with Iann Dior, titled "Tonight". On December 18, 2020, Hossler released the single "Better Off Dead", co-written by Lauv and Blackbear with co-production from Travis Barker. Jxdn also revealed the title of his debut studio album Tell Me About Tomorrow.

In January 2021, Hossler appeared in Machine Gun Kelly's film Downfalls High. Later in the same month, Hossler released a rock version of Olivia Rodrigo's debut single "Drivers License" with production from Travis Barker. The following month, Hossler was featured on Nessa Barrett's single "La Di Die". The two artists, along with Barker, performed the single live for the first time on the April 7, 2021, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and performed the song again on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 12, 2021. During the same month, Hossler was nominated for the Social Star award at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards but lost to Olivia Rodrigo.

On June 4, 2021, Hossler announced the tracklisting and release date for Tell Me About Tomorrow and released the fifth single from the album, "Think About Me". The album contains 18 songs and features guest appearances from Machine Gun Kelly and Iann Dior with production from Travis Barker. The album was released alongside the single "Wanna Be", a collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly. Hossler is currently an opening act on Machine Gun Kelly's Tickets to My Downfall Tour, which started in fall 2021, and is also headlining his own Tell Me About Tomorrow tour which began at the same time.

In August 2021, Hossler performed "Think About Me" as part of MTV's Push series and was nominated for Push Performance of the Year at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards.

Linda Lindas

The Linda Lindas are a punk rock band from Los Angeles. The all-girl group comprises Bela Salazar, Eloise Wong, Lucia de la Garza, and Mila de la Garza, who identify as Asian-American and Latinx.

Taking its name from the 2005 Japanese film Linda Linda Linda, (or the Blue Hearts song "Linda Linda" that the film is named after) the band formed in January 2018 as a pickup band of "inexperienced kids" for Kristin Kontrol's performance at Girlschool LA. By fall, they were playing Save Music in Chinatown matinee gigs alongside artists such as Phranc, the Dils, the Gears, and the Alley Cats, and other shows with bands such as Best Coast, Alice Bag, and Bleached. They wrote a song for the Netflix documentary The Claudia Kishi Club.

After Amy Poehler watched the Linda Lindas open for Bikini Kill on April 26, 2019, at the Hollywood Palladium, she had them record songs for her film Moxie.

In May 2021, the Los Angeles Public Library posted a video of the band playing "Racist, Sexist Boy" at a "TEENtastic Tuesdays" event. The song was about an experience Mila, the band's drummer, had when a schoolmate made a racist comment before the COVID-19 pandemic. The video became a viral social media hit, earning praise from Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, Red Hot Chili Peppers's Flea, Thurston Moore, Bikini Kill's Kathleen Hanna, and author Viet Thanh Nguyen, who said, "'Racist, Sexist Boy' is the song we need now".

On May 22, 2021, Epitaph Records announced that it had signed the Linda Lindas.

On June 3, 2021, the band made their late-night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

On July 21, 2021, the band released the single "Oh!" with an accompanying music video. The song also was featured in the trailer released for the Netflix series The Chair, which was released that same day.

Pvris

Pvris (pronounced "Paris" and stylized PVRIS) is a pop-rock act formed by multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer Lyndsey Gunnulfsen. Over her decade-long career, Gunnulfsen has released three studio LPs: White Noise in November 2014 featuring the hits "You and I", and "My House", All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell in 2017 featuring "What's Wrong", and Use Me in 2020 featuring "Hallucinations". In 2021, Pvris released their latest single via Warner Records.

In late July, Pvris began teasing their forthcoming single with a cryptic website sweatblvvdtears.com, containing ten Roman numerals that incrementally revealed symbols and clues pertaining to the song and its release. On July 28, the single artwork was revealed at the Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris, France, ahead of the single's official release on July 30. The music video, directed by Katharine White in Los Angeles, premiered on August 5 via YouTube.

AllMusic biographer wrote in 2015 that the group "blend[s] dreamy electronica with dark, beat-heavy rock". Rob Sayce of Rock Sound described their sound as a combined mixture of "dark electro-pop and stadium-sized rock". Metro described them as an alternative rock act that fused "electro-pop backdrops with rhythm-driven dark rock music". Their debut EP has been described as post-hardcore. White Noise has been described as electropop, pop, post-hardcore, psychedelic, and synth-pop. Their 2019 EP Hallucinations have been described as EDM, alternative rock, alt-pop, pop-rock, electronic rock, and synth-pop.

AFI

AFI (abbreviation for A Fire Inside) is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. Since 1998, it consists of lead vocalist Davey Havok, drummer and backing vocalist Adam Carson, bassist, backing vocalist and keyboardist Hunter Burgan, and guitarist, backing vocalist, and keyboardist Jade Puget. Havok and Carson are the sole remaining original members. Originally a hardcore punk band, they have since delved into many genres, starting with horror punk and following through post-hardcore and emo into alternative rock and gothic rock.

AFI has released eleven studio albums, ten EPs, one live album, and one DVD. The band first reached substantial commercial success with their fifth album, The Art of Drowning (2000), which peaked at number 174 on the Billboard 200. They then broke into the mainstream with their sixth, Sing the Sorrow (2003), which peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and remained on the chart for 51 weeks. The album was supported by popular singles "Girl's Not Grey" and "Silver and Cold", both of which peaked at number seven on America's Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart in 2003. "The Leaving Song Pt. II" was also released as a single, reaching number 16 on the chart. Sing the Sorrow was certified Platinum by the RIAA in 2006 and is AFI's best-selling release, having sold over 1.26 million copies as of September 2009.

AFI's seventh album, Decemberunderground (2006), debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and featured the hit single "Miss Murder", which topped the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, reached number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100and appeared in the video game Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA in 2013. Their next three albums, Crash Love (2009), Burials (2013), and AFI (2017), were also successful, peaking at increasing positions on the Billboard 200. An EP, The Missing Man, followed in December 2018. The band released their 11th album, Bodies, on June 11, 2021.

The Used

The Used is an American rock band from Orem, Utah, that formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalist Bert McCracken, bassist Jeph Howard, drummer Dan Whitesides, and guitarist Joey Bradford.

The group signed to Reprise Records and rose to fame in June 2002 after releasing their self-titled debut album. They followed up with their second album, In Love and Death, in September 2004 and their third album, Lies for the Liars, in May 2007. Shallow Believer, an EP that featured most of the band's B-sides, was released in February 2008. Their fourth studio album, Artwork, was released in August 2009. A fifth album, Vulnerable, was released in March 2012 through the independent label Hopeless Records. In 2013 they released another EP: The Ocean of the Sky. Their sixth album, Imaginary Enemy, was released in April 2014. Their seventh studio album, The Canyon, was released on October 27, 2017. Their eighth studio album, Heartwork, was released on April 24, 2020.

They have enjoyed much success with their albums achieving gold and platinum statuses in many countries worldwide.

Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me the Horizon (often abbreviated as BMTH) are a British rock band formed in Sheffield in 2004. The group consists of lead vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls, and keyboardist Jordan Fish. They are signed to RCA Records globally and Columbia Records exclusively in the United States.

The band released their debut album Count Your Blessings in 2006. Upon release, the album's sound polarised listeners and was met with critical disdain. The band began to break away from their controversial sound with Suicide Season (2008), which was a creative, critical, and commercial turning point for the band. Bring Me the Horizon released their third album, There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret., in 2010, propelling them to greater international fame, whilst incorporating influences from classical music, electronica, and pop. Their major-label debut, Sempiternal (2013) achieved Gold certification in Australia (35,000) and Silver in the United Kingdom (60,000). That's the Spirit (2015) debuted at number two in the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. Their sixth studio album Amo (2019) became their first UK chart-topper. As well as these six studio albums, they have also released two extended plays and two live albums. They have received four Kerrang! Awards, including two for Best British Band and one for Best Live Band, have been nominated for two Grammy Awards.

The style of their early work, including their debut album, Count Your Blessings, has been described primarily as deathcore, but they started to adopt a more eclectic style of metalcore on later albums. Furthermore, That's the Spirit marked a shift in their sound to less aggressive rock music styles. Amo saw a shift into different genres, such as electronica, pop, and hip hop.

Dashboard Confessional

Dashboard Confessional is an American rock band from Boca Raton, Florida, led by singer-songwriter Chris Carrabba. The name of the band is derived from the song "The Sharp Hint of New Tears" off their debut album, The Swiss Army Romance.

Dashboard Confessional's style is emo that takes the sound of alternative rock, indie rock, and acoustic rock. Dashboard Confessional's influences include Weezer, The Cure, Jawbreaker, R.E.M., Operation Ivy, the Smiths, Counting Crows, Morrissey, Paul Simon, Steve Earle, Sick Of It All, Green Day, Elvis Costello, The Promise Ring, Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral, Fugazi, Minor Threat, Descendents, Guy Clark, and the Beach Boys.

Manchester Orchestra

Manchester Orchestra is an American indie rock band from Atlanta formed in 2004. The group is composed of rhythm guitarist-singer-songwriter Andy Hull, lead guitarist Robert McDowell, bassist Andy Prince, and drummer Tim Very. Former drummer Jeremiah Edmond parted ways with the band in January 2010 to focus on his family and on running the band's record label, Favorite Gentlemen. The band's original bassist, Jonathan Corley, parted ways with the band in 2013. Keyboardist/percussionist Chris Freeman announced his departure from the band in September 2016.

Manchester Orchestra has released several extended plays and six studio albums: I'm Like a Virgin Losing a Child (2006), Mean Everything to Nothing (2009), Simple Math (2011), Cope (2014) (as well as its accompanying acoustic version, Hope), A Black Mile to the Surface (2017) and The Million Masks of God (2021). They have signed to independent record label Favorite Gentlemen Recordings, which is distributed through Sony Music Entertainment, and Loma Vista Recordings.

The band has performed at major music festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Coachella, Riot Fest, Shaky Knees Music Festival, Firefly Music Festival, Reading, and Leeds Festivals, Austin City Limits Music Festival, and more.

A Day to Remember

A Day to Remember (often abbreviated ADTR, and previously known as End of an Era) is an American rock band from Ocala, Florida, founded in 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. They are known for their amalgamation of metalcore and pop-punk. The band currently consists of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, percussionist/drummer Alex Shelnutt, and lead guitarist Kevin Skaff.

Signing with Indianola Records for their first album, And Their Name Was Treason (2005), Scruggs was replaced by Shelnutt in 2006. Later that year the band recorded For Those Who Have Heart (2007) for Victory Records. They embarked on several tours of the UK and U.S. and played at several festivals before recording and releasing Homesick (2009). While promoting Homesick on tour, Denney was replaced by Skaff. Soon after releasing their next album, What Separates Me from You (2010), the band went on a worldwide tour to promote it. Since 2011, the band has been involved in a lawsuit with Victory Records over their recording contract. In October 2013 the band was given the right to self-release new albums until a final verdict is reached. They released their fifth album, Common Courtesy, that month. In 2016, the band released their sixth album, Bad Vibrations. They released their seventh album You're Welcome on March 5, 2021, which marked their first release under Fueled by Ramen.

Pierce the Veil

Pierce the Veil is an American rock band from San Diego, California, United States. Formed in 2006, the band was founded by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes after the disbandment of the group Before Today (formerly Early Times), which was formed out of the San Diego punk rock scene. Other members of the band include Jaime Preciado (bass) and Tony Perry (lead guitar). Pierce the Veil has released four studio albums and has toured worldwide since the release of their debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic in 2007. The band released their second full-length studio album, titled Selfish Machines in 2010. Their third album, Collide with the Sky, was released in 2012, and is their first album under the Fearless Records label. Featuring the hit first single "King for a Day", the album debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Their fourth and latest album, Misadventures, was released on May 13, 2016.

Pierce the Veil's music style has generally been regarded as a mix of post-hardcore, pop-punk, experimental rock, emo, and metalcore.

Their debut album A Flair for the Dramatic has been described as a mixture of emo, screamo, and progressive rock.

Their sophomore album, Selfish Machines, was partly influenced by punk music and has been compared to bands like Emarosa, Chiodos, The Used, and Alesana. The band was praised by The Morning Call for the band's mix of metal and hardcore punk with the songwriting and melodies of pop music. Their third album, Collide with the Sky, was widely praised for its elements of progressive rock, Their fourth album, Misadventures, leaned more towards pop and pop-punk. The album was compared to artists like Atreyu, My Chemical Romance, and Panic! at the Disco. The vocals of Vic Fuentes have been compared to Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria.

The term "mexicore" has also been applied to the band due to the Spanish flair in many of their songs. Vic Fuentes said in an interview with Alternative Press that the band always tries to "incorporate at least a hint of Latin influence in every song."Vic Fuentes described "mexicore" as a "mix of heavy music with a little Spanish feel."

I Prevail

I Prevail is an American rock band formed in Southfield, Michigan, in 2013. They released their debut EP Heart vs. Mind (2014) and rose to popularity by releasing a metal cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" as a single, which eventually was certified platinum in the US. The band has since released two studio albums, Lifelines (2016) and Trauma (2019). The band found success with their original material as well, with the singles "Breaking Down" and "Hurricane" performing well on rock radio, the single "Bow Down" being nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2019, and Trauma being nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album the same year.

On February 19, 2019, the band announced an upcoming album called Trauma and asked fans to share the announcement on social media 100,000 times before they released the first single. On February 26, the band released the lead single from the album, "Bow Down". Later that same day the band released "Breaking Down", a second track from the album. Along with the new single being released, Gabe Helguera was made a full-time member of the band although Eli Clark was absent from both new music videos. According to Eli's LinkedIn profile, he left the band in January 2019.

While in Australia for the Download Festival in March 2019, the band performed four new songs live for the first time including "Bow Down", "Breaking Down", "Gasoline" and "DOA". On March 18, 2019, the band released the third single off the new album, "Paranoid". Trauma was released on March 29, 2019. The album was the fourth-best selling album of the week in the US upon release, while its first single, "Breaking Down", hit the top 10 of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart in May 2019. On August 6, 2019, A Day to Remember announced that I Prevail, Beartooth, & Can't Swim would be supporting them on their "Degenerates" headlining tour. In November 2019, the band received two Grammy Nominations; the Best Rock Album for Trauma, and the Best Metal Performance for "Bow Down".

Dance Gavin Dance

Dance Gavin Dance is an American rock band from Sacramento, California, formed in 2005. The band currently consists of vocalists Tilian Pearson and Jon Mess, lead guitarist Will Swan, rhythm guitarist Andrew Wells, bass guitarist Tim Feerick, and drummer Matthew Mingus. The band formerly included lead vocalists Jonny Craig and Kurt Travis, and the lineup has changed several times since its inception. Swan and Mingus are the only band members who have appeared on every studio album.

The band released their debut extended play (EP), Whatever I Say Is Royal Ocean, in 2006 and signed to Rise Records thereafter. Their debut studio album, Downtown Battle Mountain, was released in May 2007. Craig and guitarist Sean O'Sullivan left the group and were replaced by Kurt Travis and Zachary Garren, respectively. They released their self-titled second album in August 2008. Vocalist Jon Mess and bassist Eric Lodge left the group before the album's release, with Lodge being replaced by Jason Ellis. Happiness, the group's third studio album, was released in June 2009.

In 2010, Jonny Craig, Jon Mess, and Eric Lodge returned to the band and recorded their fourth studio album, Downtown Battle Mountain II (2011). The Story So Far

The Story So Far is an American pop-punk band from Walnut Creek, California, formed in 2007. They are currently signed to Pure Noise Records and have released 4 studio albums.

The band reportedly entered the studio to record their fourth studio album in April 2017. On September 13, 2017, the band released the song "Out of It". The track is included on a charity 7" vinyl, which was released on November 3.

The album, titled Proper Dose, was officially announced on July 12, 2018, and was released on September 21, 2018. Proper Dose debuted at number 19 on the Billboard 200 chart but quickly declined, falling off the chart the following week. In efforts to promote the album, the band embarked on a European tour with supporting acts from Citizen and All Get Out. At the conclusion of their European tour, the band immediately started a U.S. tour with Movements, Citizen, and Turnover. On September 21, 2018, the band released their first music video from Proper Dose for their song "Upside Down", followed by music videos for "Take Me As You Please" and "Proper Dose" on November 8, 2018, and January 22, 2019, respectively.

Under Soil and Dirt (2011), What You Don't See (2013), and The Story So Far (2015) have all been described as pop-punk. Their fourth album, Proper Dose, marked a departure from pop-punk and saw the band incorporating indie rock into their sound. The Story So Far has also been described as having an "edgier" take on pop-punk, due to their frequent incorporation of hardcore punk and punk rock elements in their music.

Sleeping With Sirens

Sleeping with Sirens is an American rock band from Orlando, Florida, currently residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The band currently consists of Kellin Quinn (lead vocals, keyboards), Jack Fowler (lead guitar, programming), Nick Martin (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Justin Hills (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Matty Best (drums, percussion). The band was formed in 2009 by members of For All We Know and Paddock Park. The group is currently signed to Sumerian Records and has released six full-length albums and an acoustic EP.

The band rose to fame with their song "If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn", the lead single from their debut album, With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear, which was released in 2010. Their second album, Let's Cheers to This, was released in 2011 and became a breakout for the band, thanks to the popular single "If You Can't Hang", which was certified Gold on July 18, 2018, by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling 500,000 copies in the US. The group's third album, Feel, debuted at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200, and a fourth album, entitled Madness, was released on March 17, 2015, through Epitaph Records and spawned the single "Kick Me". Their fifth studio album, Gossip, was released on September 22, 2017, on Warner Bros. Records. Their sixth studio album, How It Feels to Be Lost, was released on September 6, 2019, through Sumerian Records. The group is known primarily for the versatility of vocalist Kellin Quinn's leggero tenor vocal range, along with the heavy sound used in their early work and the pop influences they used later into their career.

On June 19, 2019, the band released the single "Leave It All Behind", which is closer to their older sound than the poppier sound of Gossip, and announced their sixth studio album, How It Feels to Be Lost. It will be the band's first release under Sumerian Records. On July 19, 2019, the band released the album's second single, "Break Me Down." On August 8, 2019, the band released the album's third single, "Agree to Disagree."

On April 9, 2020, lead guitarist Jack Fowler teased a short clip from a heavy and yet-to-be-released song.

On July 24, 2020, the band released a new single that Jack Fowler teased before, "Talking to Myself", with an accompanying lyric video. The band announced the release of a deluxe version of the album "How It Feels To Be Lost", scheduled for August 21.

The band's music has been described as post-hardcore, pop-rock, metalcore, alternative rock, pop-punk, pop, screamo, emo, and emo-pop.

Knocked Loose

Knocked Loose is an American hardcore punk band from Oldham County, Kentucky, formed in 2013 and currently signed to Pure Noise Records. The band released its first studio album, Laugh Tracks, in September 2016 through Pure Noise Records.

In the fall of 2018, Knocked Loose opened up for Beartooth on their Disease tour with Sylar. Knocked Loose then embarked on a headliner in the Spring of 2019. The Acacia Strain, Harm's Way, Sanction, and Higher Power all joined up as support. Knocked Loose then supported A Day to Remember in the Summer of 2019 with Boston Manor.

Knocked Loose's next record, A Different Shade of Blue was released on August 23, 2019. In support of the new record, the band embarked on a massive USA headliner throughout the fall of 2019. Stick to Your Guns, Rotting Out, Candy, and SeeYouSpaceCowboy all joined up on the tour as support.

Currently, Knocked Loose is set to do a late Summer headliner with Gatecreeper, Magnitude, and Kharma. The band will then open up for Gojira on their Fall 2021 tour with Alien Weaponry.

Their song "God Knows" was elected by Loudwire as the 30th best metal song of 2021.

Knocked Loose has been categorized under several sub-genres by the media and publications alike, including metalcore, hardcore punk, and beatdown hardcore. New Noise, when reviewing their debut album Laugh Tracks, described the band's sound as being akin to "Comeback Kid at their heaviest with some added doses of Slayer riffs and Code Orange-style malice". Bryan Garris, the band's lead vocalist, has described their sound as being "sandwiched between hardcore and metalcore", although he has stated that the band's intention was to produce a diverse sound that was difficult to categorize. Knocked Loose has been credited as one of the forerunners of the first-wave metalcore "revival" scene of the late 2010s, alongside bands such as Code Orange, Counterparts, Kublai Khan, Varials, and Jesus Piece.

As is common within the metalcore and hardcore punk genres, Knocked Loose incorporates slow-tempo breakdowns into their music.

Black Veil Brides

Black Veil Brides is an American rock band based in Hollywood, California. The group was formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio and is currently composed of lead vocalist Andy Biersack, rhythm guitarist and violinist Jinxx, lead guitarist Jake Pitts, drummer Christian "CC" Coma, and bassist Lonny Eagleton. Black Veil Brides are known for their use of black makeup, body paint, tight black studded clothing, and long hair, which were all inspired by the stage personas of Kiss and Mötley Crüe, as well as other 1980s glam metal acts.

On August 2, 2020, following the live stream show which celebrated the re-recording of We Stitch These Wounds, Jeremy "Jinxx" Ferguson had confirmed that they are working on a new album during the COVID-19 pandemic, stating in an interview with Myglobalmind:

We have been writing up a storm. I can't talk too about what we envision for the next album, but we are revisiting the idea of another concept record like we did with Wretched and Divine. It would be fun to do another concept CD, but we'll see how things pan out. We have six solid songs written, and we are still writing. Once we do this show, we will head back into the studio to write some more. We have been doing it all ourselves. Jake will be producing it, and we are tracking vocals and guitars at his studio. I'm recording the strings at my studio. With COVID going on, we have all been quarantined and working at home, but when we do get together, it's just us and maybe our wives. When we are all in the same room bouncing ideas off each other, it's a never-ending flood of inspiration and ideas. I'm excited for fans to hear what we are coming up with.

On November 11, 2020, the band announced The Phantom Tomorrow in an interview with Kerrang!. The first single "Scarlet Cross" was released on November 13. On April 12, 2021, the band released the second single from The Phantom Tomorrow, "Fields of Bone", as well as releasing the cover art, track listing, and pre-order details. On May 4, the band announced that they were forced to delay the release of The Phantom Tomorrow due to production complications caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, pushing the album's release back from June 4, 2021, to October 29, 2021.

Ice Nine Kills

Ice Nine Kills (sometimes stylized as ICE NINE KILLS or abbreviated to INK, and formerly known as Ice Nine) is an American heavy metal band from Boston, Massachusetts who are signed to Fearless Records. Best known for its horror-inspired lyrics, Ice Nine Kills was formed in its earliest incarnation in 2000 by high school friends Spencer Charnas and Jeremy Schwartz. Charnas is currently the only remaining founding member.

To date, Ice Nine Kills has released three EPs along with six full-length studio albums: Last Chance to Make Amends, Safe Is Just a Shadow, The Predator Becomes the Prey, their most successful albums to date; Every Trick in the Book, which peaked at number 122 on the US Billboard 200; The Silver Scream, which peaked at number 29; and their latest, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. Their band name is derived from the fictional substance ice-nine from the novel Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut.

The lead single "Hip to Be Scared", inspired by American Psycho, the title of Ice Nine Kills' new album was listed in the credits as The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. On the ninth of each month leading up to the album's release, a new single and accompanying video was released to promote the album. On July 9, 2021, the band released the lead single from the album "Hip to Be Scared". The single features Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix and was released along with an accompanying music video. On August 3, 2021, the band released a teaser video featuring the album's tracklisting, leading fans to predict and speculate the horror/thriller movies that inspired the songs on the album. On August 9, 2021, the band released the second single "Assault & Batteries", inspired by Child's Play. On September 9, 2021, the band released the third single "Rainy Day", inspired by Resident Evil. On October 9, 2021, the band released the fourth single "Funeral Derangements", inspired by Pet Sematary. The album was released on October 15, 2021.

The group originally pursued a style of ska-punk influenced by alternative rock, ska, and pop-punk, but they have since shifted into a style that has been described as metalcore, post-hardcore, melodic hardcore, heavy metal, and symphonic metal. Ice Nine Kills has described itself as theatricore.

The band's latest album, The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood, retains its predecessor's metalcore and symphonic metal sound, but otherwise is described as deathcore and emo-pop.

Senses Fail

Senses Fail is an American post-hardcore band formed in Ridgewood, New Jersey, United States, in 2002. Founded by vocalist James "Buddy" Nielsen, drummer Dan Trapp, guitarists Garrett Zablocki and Dave Miller, and bassist James Gill (replaced by Mike Glita shortly after); the band has seen many lineup changes, with Nielsen being the only consistent member.

The lineup currently consists of Nielsen, bassist/guitarist Gavin Caswell, and drummer Steve Carey, together with bassist Greg Styliades and guitarist Jason Milbank.

The band has released seven studio albums, Let It Enfold You, Still Searching, Life Is Not a Waiting Room, The Fire, Renacer, Pull the Thorns from Your Heart and If There Is Light, It Will Find You. In addition, the band has two EPs, From the Depths of Dreams and In Your Absence, and one live album, “Joshua Tree (Live)”.

In January 2020, Senses Fail announced that they had begun recording their eighth record, tentatively titled Hell Is In Your Head and that it would follow the character from Still Searching after the events of the song "The Priest and the Matador." In March, they updated the working title to What the Thunder Said, Hell Is in Your Head.

On October 30, 2020, two Misfits covers were released as part of a split covers EP with the band Saves The Day titled Through Being Ghoul.

On November 25, 2020, the band released an EP titled Christmas Has Been Canceled Due to Lack of Hustle which features two songs, a cover of Saturday Night Live's "I Wish It Was Christmas Today" and "Donde Esta Santa Clause".

On February 17, 2021, the band released "Lush Rimbaugh," coinciding with the death of conservative news pundit Rush Limbaugh. Hell Is in Your Head is scheduled for release on July 15, 2022.

Senses Fail has been described as post-hardcore, emo, screamo, metalcore, pop-punk, hardcore punk, and punk rock. Senses Fail have cited Jimmy Eat World, The GetUp Kids, The Promise Ring, Appleseed Cast, Saves the Day, Thursday, The Casket Lottery, Lifetime, and Deftones as their influences.

Bayside

Bayside is an American punk rock band from the Bayside, Queens neighborhood of New York City, United States, formed in 2000 by lead vocalist Anthony Raneri. The group also consists of lead guitarist Jack O'Shea, bassist Nick Ghanbarian, and drummer Chris Guglielmo.

Since their formation, the group has released eight full-length albums, with their debut, Sirens, and Condolences, in 2004, and the release of 2005's follow-up, Bayside, launching the band into mainstream success. The band released six more albums: The Walking Wounded (2007), Shudder (2008), Killing Time (2011), Cult (2014), Vacancy (2016), and Interrobang (2019).

On August 20, the band released a new single, titled "Prayers."

On September 20, the band announced their eighth studio album, Interrobang, and released the title track along with a music video. The album's release date was also set as October 4, only two weeks from this announcement.

A week later, a tour in support of the new album was announced along with a battle of the band's submission and voting based on the band's website. The Contest was meant as a way for the band to support local unsigned bands and give them a chance to perform in front of a large crowd. Each concert would feature a local band as an opener.

In 2020, the band announced a 20th-anniversary tour with Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights, and Can't Swim, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mom Jeans

Mom Jeans is an American alternative rock/indie rock band formed in Berkeley, California in 2014. The band's second full-length album, titled Puppy Love, was released on July 3, 2018 with Counter Intuitive Records, as well as a limited independent label run of the record and a select variant being put out by UK-based label Big Scary Monsters.

In early 2019 the band began recording demos for a new LP as well as naming the album, which will be titled Sweet Tooth., following the departure of Gabriel Paganin. In the fall of 2019, it was announced the band would be touring with Hobo Johnson, featuring guest bassist Billy Bouzos (owner of the Oakland-based indie label Slang Church) filling in for Sam Kless. Sweet Tooth is currently scheduled to be released on February 22, 2022, with the first single What's Up? being released on September 28, 2021.

Mayday Parade

Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends was released in 2006 and sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. In July 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. After signing to Fearless in 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic in 2009. Their second studio album, Anywhere but Here was released in October 2009 and their third album, entitled Mayday Parade, was released in October 2011. Mayday Parade's fourth album, titled Monsters in the Closet, was released in October 2013. Their fifth album, titled Black Lines, was released in October 2015. In April 2018, the band signed to Rise Records and released their sixth studio album Sunnyland on June 15, 2018.

On March 5, 2020, the band released the track "It Is What It Is".

On September 22, 2020, the band teased their upcoming EP album. "Lighten Up Kid" was released as the lead single from Out Of Here on September 24. The band's drummer Jake Bundrick stated about the lead single; “'Lighten Up Kid' is about trying to find yourself and the strength to keep fighting for what you believe in. It's about being or feeling cut down and hung out to dry but standing up for yourself in the end.”

The EP Out Of Here was released on October 16, 2020, comprises three new tracks - "Lighten Up, Kid," "First Train" and "I Can Only Hope".

On June 18, 2021, the band teased their new single "Kids Of Summer", which was released on June 22. On August 13 they teased a second single, named "Bad At Love" and released August 17. On September 23, they released a third single named "One For The Rocks And One For The Scary", while also announcing their 7th studio album, What It Means To Fall Apart, alongside the album tracklist and song titles. On October 29, they released a fourth track named "Golden Days". On November 17, they released a fifth track named "Think Of You". The seventh studio album was released November 19, 2021, it includes 12 new songs, including the 5 songs previously mentioned.

The Maine

The Maine is an American rock band from Tempe, Arizona. Formed in 2007, the group consists of lead vocalist, guitarist, and pianist John O'Callaghan, lead guitarist Jared Monaco, bass guitarist Garrett Nickelsen, drummer Patrick Kirch, and rhythm guitarist Kennedy Brock. The band is joined by touring member Adam Simons, as of 2018, who plays keys, rhythm, and lead guitar as well as percussion.

Their first release, the Stay Up, Get Down extended play, was released in 2007, followed by the five-song EP, The Way We Talk, on December 11, 2007. The band's first full-length studio album, Can't Stop Won't Stop, was released July 8, 2008 while their second full-length album, Black & White, was released on July 13, 2010. Since then, the band has independently released six albums including Pioneer (2011), Forever Halloween (2013), American Candy (2015), Lovely Little Lonely (2017), You Are OK (2019), and XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time (2021).

On March 15, 2021, the band announced the title of their eighth album, XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real-Time, along with news that the lead single, "Sticky", would be released on Friday, March 19, 2021. The album was released on July 9, 2021, the first day of Sad Summer Fest 2021. The band preceded the release of the album with additional singles "April 7th", "Lips", and "Pretender". To support the album, the band will be going on tour in the fall in support of All Time Low.

The Maine's music style has generally been regarded as alternative rock, pop-punk, pop-rock, emo pop, and emo. Magazine Alternative Press has referred to them as neon pop-punk.

Neck Deep

Neck Deep is a Welsh pop-punk band from Wrexham, Wales formed in 2012. Founded after vocalist Ben Barlow met former lead guitarist Lloyd Roberts, the pair posted a song ("What Did You Expect?") online under the name Neck Deep. The song soon gained attention online, resulting in the addition of rhythm guitarist Matt West, drummer Dani Washington/Abasi, and bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans. They released a pair of EPs, Rain in July (2012) and A History of Bad Decisions (2013), both recorded by Barlow's older brother, before signing with Hopeless in August 2013.

Following the release of their debut album Wishful Thinking in January 2014, the band became a full-time project, with the band members leaving their jobs and/or dropping out of university courses. Shortly after the release of their second album Life's Not out to Get You in August 2015, Roberts left the band due to allegations of sexual misconduct (which he was subsequently found to have no case to answer, and Sam Bowden (formerly of Climates and Blood Youth) joined in his place. The group's third album The Peace and the Panic was then released in August 2017, and debuted #4 both UK and United States. In September 2018, Thorpe-Evans left the band to pursue a solo career as a producer. In 2019, the band embarked in a summer tour with Blink-182 as the opening act. By February 2020, the band added longtime collaborator and bassist Seb Barlow as an official member, plus later that month revealed an app with all sorts of multimedia regarding the announcement of their fourth album, titled All Distortions Are Intentional, released 24 July.

The band released a new single entitled 'She's a God' on 27 June 2019 with new bassist Joshua Halling, who was previously the band's touring photographer. The band spent the summer of that year touring as support for Blink-182 and Lil Wayne. Wayne threatened to quit the tour due to the size of the crowds, saying "Please forgive me but I am so not used to performing to a crowd … and there’s not too many … that’s not my swag," he admitted. "I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to do this tour, but make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night, though. Let’s go!". Lil Wayne ended up confirming he was staying with Neck Deep and Blink-182 for the remainder of the tour, tweeting "I’m having too much fun with my bros blink-182."

In February 2020, Ben's brother Seb officially joined the band as bassist, after having been involved behind the scenes since day one. He replaced Joshua Halling who returned to being the band's photographer. However, Halling recorded all bass tracks on the upcoming album. On the same day, they unveiled the Neck Deep app, which features photos, videos, tour dates, and announcements. A header image reading "You are invited to Sonderland" with the dates 28/02/20 - 29/02/20 is featured prominently. Their tour will be in the U.K. and in the United States throughout 2020 with their new album, "All Distortions Are Intentional" being released on 24 July

Neck Deep is a pop-punk band. Their sound has been described as being reminiscent of Blink-182, New Found Glory, The Wonder Years, Green Day, and the Descendents. Vocalist Ben Barlow has stated A Day to Remember and Architects as a massive influence on the band. The early Fall Out Boy work and Sum 41 have also been cited as influences.

Silverstein

Silverstein is a Canadian rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 2000. Their band name is a reference to the famous children's author Shel Silverstein, whom the band had admired and read the stories of as children. They have released a total of ten studio albums, four EPs, a compilation album, and a live DVD/CD. Their lineup had remained unchanged for eleven years since December 2001, consisting of lead vocalist Shane Told, lead guitarist Neil Boshart, rhythm guitarist Josh Bradford, bassist Billy Hamilton, and drummer Paul Koehler. In September 2012, the band had announced that Neil Boshart had been fired and would be replaced by Paul Marc Rousseau, who also joined Billy Hamilton on backing vocals. The band achieved moderate success with their second studio album, Discovering the Waterfront, which was nominated for a Juno Award and reached No. 34 on the Billboard 200 charts, with the following two albums charting at similar positions. Silverstein has sold over 1,000,000 albums worldwide.

The band left long-time record label Victory Records in 2010. Following a period with Hopeless Records and another with Rise Records, they are now signed to UNFD. They released their 10th studio album, A Beautiful Place to Drown, in March 2020. This was nominated for a 2021 Juno award in the “Best Rock Album” category.

On 27 June 2019, Silverstein released a new single featuring Beartooth's vocalist Caleb Shomo titled "Burn It Down".

On 8 January 2020, Silverstein released another single titled "Infinite", featuring Underoath's clean vocalist/drummer Aaron Gillespie, along with the announcement of their next album.

On 3 March 2020, the band released another new single titled "Madness", featuring Princess Nokia.

A Beautiful Place to Drown was released on 6 March 2020.

Silverstein has been described as post-hardcore, emo, screamo, indie rock, and hardcore punk. Their influences include Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, The GetUp Kids, Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral, Knapsack, NOFX, Rancid, Lagwagon, and Pennywise.

Palaye Royale

Palaye Royale is a Canadian-American rock band from Las Vegas, formed in 2008 by brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig, and Emerson Barrett. The brothers' true surname is Kropp; each one's stage moniker makes use of their respective middle names. They formed under the name Kropp Circle in 2008 and changed their name to Palaye Royale in 2011.

The band embarked on a European tour in early 2020 to support their upcoming third album. A February date in Glasgow, Scotland was canceled due to a disagreement with the venue, and another show in Birmingham, England was canceled but replaced by a sold-out show in Wolverhampton. Just before a show in Prague, Czech Republic, the rest of the tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The band's third album, The Bastards, was released in May 2020 and included songwriting contributions from touring musicians Daniel Curcio and Andrew Martin. Curcio was fired from the band in June 2020 due to allegations of online misconduct.

On July 5, 2021, the band announced the beginning of a new album era and the upcoming release of two new singles. On July 9 both singles, titled "No Love In LA" and "Punching Bag", were released on all platforms. On 11 October 2021, the band released a new single titled "Paranoid". The title of the album "Fever Dream" was officially announced on November 16 during an interview with Ted Stryker, followed by a post on the group's official Twitter account. On December 23 the group has announced their next single "Broken".

The band has frequently been described as, and identifies themselves as, fashion-art rock, as well as being described as rock and roll, glam rock, indie rock, and garage rock. They have cited influences such as The Animals, The Faces, Small Faces, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, David Bowie, T. Rex, The Velvet Underground, and classical music. Classic Rock Magazine described their style as "crash[ing] from My Chemical Romance-influenced rock to New York Dolls-ish punk via dashes of Stones-y blues".

Bright Eyes

Bright Eyes is an American indie rock band founded by singer-songwriter and guitarist Conor Oberst. It consists of Oberst, multi-instrumentalist and producer Mike Mogis, arranger, composer and trumpet and piano player Nate Walcott, and a rotating line-up of collaborators drawn primarily from Omaha's indie music scene. Between 1998 and 2011, the band's albums were released through Saddle Creek Records, a Nebraska-based label founded by Justin Oberst (Conor's brother) and Mogis. In January 2020, the band announced their return, having signed with Dead Oceans.

In January 2020, Bright Eyes launched an Instagram page and teased a 2020 return. They released their first new song in 9 years - "Persona Non Grata" - on March 24. NME's Luke Morgan Britton wrote of the track: "[A] dual sense of societal dystopia and inner turmoil collide and intertwine on the quietly poignant ‘Persona Non Grata’... [It] sees the band maintain the sage-like, cryptic feel of their latter-day records. Yet it also returns to the intimacy and immediacy of their early material." On May 27 2020, Bright Eyes released the third single from Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was titled "One & Done" along with a lyric video.

Bright Eyes released a new single called Forced Convalescence. Which was released through Dead Oceans On April 21, 2020. The single has Red Hot Chili Peppers Flea on Bass along with a gospel choir.

The band announced a new album called Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was on June 22, 2020. On the same day, they released a new single, "Mariana Trench". The album was released on August 21, 2020. The band released their single "Miracle of Life" featuring Phoebe Bridgers on October 28, 2020. The song was made to benefit Planned Parenthood.

Poppy

Moriah Rose Pereira (born January 1, 1995), known professionally as Poppy and formerly as That Poppy, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and YouTuber. In 2014, she gained viral fame by starring in performance art videos as an uncanny valley-like android entity who commented on and satirized internet culture and modern society. She signed a recording contract with Island Records in 2015, and released her debut EP Bubblebath in 2016.

In 2017, Poppy signed a deal with Mad Decent and released her debut studio album Poppy. Computer, which consisted of art-pop and bubblegum pop songs. To promote the album, she embarked on the Poppy. Computer Tour. In 2018, she released the pilot for the proposed surreal comedy online series I'm Poppy on YouTube Premium. She also released her second studio album Am I a Girl? In stark contrast to her previous style, the second half of Am I a Girl? began to show a heavy nu-metal influence.

In 2020, Poppy signed to Sumerian Records and released her third studio album I Disagree, incorporating heavy metal and industrial rock. I Disagree featured visuals in her music videos which some critics described as "increasingly disturbing", "violent", and "macabre", continuing the shift in her music videos that started with her second album.

In 2021, Poppy's song "Bloodmoney" received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, making her the first and currently only female artist to be nominated in a metal category. That same year, she continued her long-time collaboration with professional wrestling promotion WWE NXT by releasing the metalcore soundtrack EP Eat (NXT Soundtrack). Her fourth studio album, Flux, was released three months later to critical acclaim, featuring a less harsh and more stripped-down sound than I Disagree and Eat.

Poppy's musical style has been described as pop, heavy metal, rock, electronic, industrial, and experimental. More specifically, her music has been described as various subgenres including dance-pop, nu-metal, electropop, art pop, experimental pop, synth-pop, avant-garde pop, bubblegum pop, dream pop, pop-rock, hard rock, industrial metal, and industrial rock. Poppy has described herself as a "kawaii Barbie child". She has described her music style as "music [that] makes you want to rule the world." Poppy states that she drew inspiration from genres such as J-pop and K-pop, as well as reggae. She recalls beginning to write music in 2012. She told Tiger Beat her musical inspirations are Cyndi Lauper, unicorns, and Elvis Presley. She is a fan of Jimmy Eat World, No Doubt, Norma Jean, and Blondie.

Nessa Barrett

Janesa "Nessa" Barrett is an American singer and songwriter. Barrett rose to prominence on the video-sharing app TikTok in 2019. Barrett began her music career in mid-2020 with the release of her debut single "Pain." Barrett released her debut EP Pretty Poison on September 10, 2021. Her song "I Hope Ur Miserable Until Ur Dead" entered the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 88 in August 2021, becoming her first entry on the chart.

Barrett grew up in Galloway Township, New Jersey. She shared that she was interested in music and writing "since [she] could walk and talk." She cites artists like Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, Melanie Martinez, and The Neighbourhood as influences on both her sound and her aesthetic as a musician.

In 2019, Barrett joined the social media platform TikTok, accumulating over 16.5 million followers as of August 2021 and over 197.8 million likes on the platform. Despite difficulties she has faced as a public figure, she explains that she is "very passionate about being authentic and staying true to [herself]" in the digital realm.

Barrett began her music career in July 2020, when she released her piano-based ballad debut single "Pain". Barrett's debut single was released shortly after signing with Warner Records, the label reaching out and eventually signing her after discovering clips of her singing on TikTok. Barrett continued her music career, intending to embody a "dark, punk rock kind of vibe", with the release of her second single "If U Love Me" in October 2020. Shortly after, Barrett followed the song with a dark interpretation of "Santa Baby", released in December 2020. In February 2021, Barrett released the track "La Di Die", which explores the downfalls of fame with fellow alt-pop artist Jxdn, produced by Travis Barker. Barrett and collaborator Jxdn, along with Barker, performed the single live for the first time on the April 7, 2021 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and performed the song again on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 12, 2021.

On June 25, 2021, Barrett released "Counting Crimes", a song said by Barrett to be "about moving on from something toxic with an empowering bad bitch energy. Admitting that you have made mistakes, but the other person has done worse than you and understanding who really is the bad guy in the situation." Barrett confirmed on the Zach Sang Show in July 2021 that her debut EP would be titled Pretty Poison. The EP contains seven new tracks and was released on September 10, 2021.This date coincides with World Suicide Prevention Day, which Barrett states is "to show that there's faith behind everything and that everyone is able to be happy whenever it's right for them."Barrett earned her first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100 in August 2021, when her song "I Hope Ur Miserable Until Ur Dead" debuted at number 88.

Wolf Alice

Wolf Alice are an English alternative rock band from London. Formed in 2010 as an acoustic duo comprising singer Ellie Rowsell and guitarist Joff Oddie, since 2012 Wolf Alice has also featured bassist Theo Ellis and drummer Joel Amey.

Wolf Alice played their first gig at Highbury Garage, in December 2010 supporting April in the Shade, after Ellie Rowsell and Joff Oddie met the band at an open mic at the Hope & Anchor in Islington. They released their debut single "Fluffy" in February 2013, and followed it with "Bros" in May. They released their debut EP Blush in October, and its follow-up Creature Songs in May 2014. In February 2015 the band released the lead single "Giant Peach" from their debut album My Love Is Cool, which was released in June 2015. It includes their 2014 single "Moaning Lisa Smile", which peaked at number nine on US Billboard's Alternative Songs chart in August 2015, and was nominated for the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance.

The band released their second studio album Visions of a Life in September 2017. It debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart, and received universal acclaim from music critics. Ranked as one of the best albums of the year by multiple publications, the album won the 2018 Mercury Prize. The band released their third studio album Blue Weekend in June 2021.

Acceptance

Acceptance is an American pop-punk band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1998. They released their first EP, Lost for Words, in 2000, followed by Black Lines to Battlefields in 2003 (this EP was also re-released with live bonus tracks). Their debut album, Phantoms, was released in 2005.

On January 26, 2015, it was announced that Acceptance had reunited. They released their first song in over ten years called "Take You Away" on May 8, 2015. A second studio album, titled Colliding by Design, was released on February 24, 2017.

n January 26, 2015, it was announced that Acceptance would be reuniting at Skate & Surf 2015 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Since the announcement of their reunion, the band has released a brand new song entitled "Take You Away", making it their first single to be released since their 2006 breakup.

On August 3, 2016 Acceptance announced they would be playing three Texas dates with As Cities Burn & more on October 21 in Dallas at So What?! Music Fest in Deep Ellum, October 22 in Houston at Scout Bar, and October 23 in Austin at Dirty Dog Bar!

On November 30, 2016, Christian McAlhaney was interviewed for TheTalkhouse, where he elaborated on the band's demise in 2006. Factors contributing to Acceptance's breakup included their debut album, Phantoms, leaking 9 months early, being "strong-armed by [their] label into releasing a ballad as [Phantoms'] first single," spyware being bundled with the album (as well as other releases by Columbia Records) and a lengthy court battle that resulted in Phantoms being permanently recalled.

Acceptance have announced they are recording a second studio album, Colliding by Design, which is scheduled for a February 2017 release. A track from the album, "Diagram of a Simple Man", was released early to fans who backed the album financially via Pledge Music. On January 26, an official lyric video for the song "Haunted" was released on the Rise Records YouTube channel.

On May 17, 2019, Acceptance confirmed that they were working on and recording new material.

On June 10, 2020, Acceptance announced their new Wild EP would be released on July 24. On June 18, they released the song "Cold Air". The band released their third album, Wild, Free on October 2, which included all tracks from the Wild EP.

AllMusic biographer Neil Z. Yeung described the band's sound as "catchy melodies, big choruses, and arena-sized singalongs, incorporating a harder rock edge into their sound," reminiscent of Jimmy Eat World, the Juliana Theory, and Anberlin. Phantoms have been described as pop punk fused with alternative pop, pop, pop-rock, and rock.

Story of the Year

Story of the Year is an American rock band formed in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1995 under the name 67 North. The band eventually changed their name to Big Blue Monkey in 1998, and then subsequently changed it again to Story of the Year in 2002, after the release of their EP titled Story of the Year on the indie label Criterion Records. At the time, they claimed they discovered that a blues group named Big Blue Monkey had already existed. Later, on their podcast "Page Avenue Crew", they clarified that they just didn't care for the name and made up the excuse of another band having the same name.

It would not be until three years after forming that Story of the Year saw its first piece of commercial success in its major-label debut, Page Avenue, containing the popular singles "Until the Day I Die" and "Anthem of Our Dying Day". A second album, In the Wake of Determination, followed in 2005 but did not achieve the commercial success of its predecessor. The band released their third album, The Black Swan, on April 22, 2008, which was their first release on Epitaph Records, followed by 2010s The Constant.

On August 11, 2017, Story of the Year teased a 90-second clip of a new song off their crowd-funded fifth studio album. The pledge campaign began in November 2016 and was completely funded in less than 3 days. The band used high-profile producer Aaron Sprinkle and mixers Tom Lord Alge & J Hall to complete their fifth studio album. They confirmed via the pledge site that the new album will be titled Wolves, which was released on PledgeMusic on December 1, 2017. The album's wide release was on December 8, 2017. On February 2, 2019, Story of the Year held their annual hometown show at the Pageant in St. Louis, Missouri to promote Wolves.

Story of the Year has been categorized under several genres, especially emo, screamo, post-hardcore, and pop-punk. AllMusic describes the band as "emo punk" and "emo-inflected post-grunge" and the band has also been labeled as alternative rock and melodic hardcore. Story of the Year's early material as Big Blue Monkey is considered nu-metal.

The band's influences include Skid Row, Guns N' Roses, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, NOFX, Pennywise, Sick of It All, and H2O.

Atreyu

Atreyu is an American metalcore band from Yorba Linda, California, formed in 1998. The band currently consists of clean vocalist Brandon Saller, guitarists Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel, bassist and unclean vocalist Marc "Porter" McKnight, and drummer Kyle Rosa.

The band has released eight studio albums: Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses (2002), The Curse (2004), A Death-Grip on Yesterday (2006), Lead Sails Paper Anchor (2007), Congregation of the Damned (2009), Long Live (2015), In Our Wake (2018) and Baptize (2021).

In October 2020, the band released a single titled "Save Us". They also announced several lineup changes, including the addition of new drummer Kyle Rosa, as Brandon Saller would focus on clean singing only. Meanwhile, bassist Marc McKnight would take over screaming vocals.

On March 4, 2021, the band announced that their eighth studio album Baptize would be released on June 4, 2021, through Spinefarm Records. Ahead of the release, they also released two singles: "Warrior" featuring Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and "Underrated".

Atreyu has been described as metalcore, alternative metal better source needed, and post-hardcore. According to Adrien Begrand of PopMatters, "Atreyu is too goth to be emo, too metal to be punk, and too brazenly emotional to be metal". According to Begrand, Atreyu's music often features elements of heavy metal, psychedelic rock, gothic rock, hardcore punk, thrash metal, blues rock, emo, hard rock, screamo, and melodic death metal.

In an interview, guitarist Dan Jacobs stated he is a really big '80s rock fan. He then went on to quote "I love all that stuff and I think that is one generation where music was done right and I try to apply that as much as possible to our music". He also went on to discuss Atreyu's influence from the Gothenburg metal scene. A few bands he mentioned that the band loves are: Arch Enemy, In Flames, Soilwork, and all those types of bands.

Glassjaw

Glassjaw is an American rock band from Hempstead, New York. The band is fronted by vocalist Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck and was a major part of the Long Island music scene in the early 2000s. The band has been influential in the progression of the underground music scene in the eastern United States and the United Kingdom and on the post-hardcore genre, and are known for their intense live shows and frequent line-up changes.

Glassjaw has been regarded as one of the most influential bands of the post-hardcore genre. Born of the Long Island hardcore scene, producer Ross Robinson declared in 2000 that Glassjaw "was on a mission to destroy the ‘Adidas Rock’ of nu-metal bands like Limp Bizkit." Their usage of dissonant melodies through their two guitarists, Justin Beck and Todd Weinstock, created a jazz-like sound that was unique and original for the genre. Nick Greer of Sputnikmusic stated that "part of what makes Glassjaw such a stand-out band is a combination of structured genre-blending and blissfully naive experimentation." Michael Ventimiglia of the Long Island Press said that their Worship and Tribute album "helped shape and define music for a new generation."

Modern post-hardcore bands such as Funeral for a Friend, Night Verses, The Movielife, and Letlive have named Glassjaw as a formidable influence. Funeral For a Friend lead singer Matt Davies-Kreye stated that "Glassjaw is such an experimental band and integrate a lot of different styles and influences in their music such as ambient rock, hardcore, post-rock, and jazz. They always taught me to go against the grain, pay more attention to dynamics and think outside of the box when writing songs. I like to think that our new material is heavily GlassJaw-influenced."Mike Cunniff of Boston Manor said that "they definitely have a strong cult following not dissimilar to Brand New. Their music has stood the test of time because they have always been so fresh and original.”

Both Palumbo and Beck continue to speak unfavorably of Roadrunner, years after the problems the band experienced with them. They openly advise people not to buy their first full-length so as not to give the label money and have repeatedly told fans at shows to illegally download the record. Palumbo has said of them:

"Roadrunner is a joke. Roadrunner's not even a real label. It has the power to be one of the superpowers in the heavy music industry. While labels like Victory Records, which is such a small hardcore label, is totally surpassing Roadrunner. Roadrunner is a joke. It's like the scourge of the music industry."

Beck has said:

"Seriously, don't ever support anything from Roadrunner – they suck!"

Palumbo has said that Roadrunner didn't put the band on enough tours:

"We never toured half as much as we wanted to, I just wish we got to tour more in support of [Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence]"

"We were on Roadrunner for a couple of years and Roadrunner was a joke, a fuckin' joke of a label. They are a miserable fuckin' corporation that does not bend for their bands, does not give their bands anything and they're just terrible businessmen. They are a giant joke of a label. They had 2 cash cows, Slipknot and Nickelback, and every other project they had rode backseat to those bands, and then the second that the new Slipknot record came out and didn't go quadruple Platinum in the first few hours it was released they fuckin' turned their backs on Slipknot. That label just wants instant gratification where it sells its units and that's a joke. You can't run a major corporation with that as your business strategy."

Regarding the re-release of the remastered version of Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence in March 2009 by Roadrunner, Beck was quoted by Alter The Press! in saying

"It's complete shit! We had nothing to do with it. DO NOT BUY IT! It's embarrassing."

Lil Huddy

Cole Chase Hudson (born May 15, 2002), known professionally as Lil Huddy or LilHuddy (stylized in all caps), is an American social media personality, singer, and actor, known for his relationship with Charli D'Amelio, co-founding the TikTok collective the Hype House and popularising the e-boy fashion style and subculture. According to Billboard, he is one of the top 10 music influencers on TikTok, with over 30 million followers, and one of the most influential people on the platform. He has also been cited by Paper as an important figure in the 2020s pop-punk revival.

Hudson began his career on musical.ly, now TikTok. In December 2019, Hudson co-founded the TikTok collective known as the Hype House with other social media personalities such as Daisy Keech, Alex Warren, Kouvr Annon, and Thomas Petrou. He also has a YouTube channel.

Hudson is represented by the talent agency WME.

In December 2020, he was signed to Interscope Records by Adam Mersel, despite Hudson only having recorded "a few scrappy demos". Hudson starred alongside Sydney Sweeney in Downfalls High, the film adaptation of Machine Gun Kelly's album Tickets to My Downfall. The film premiered on January 15, 2021, and gained over 16 million views on its first weekend. He then released his debut single "21st Century Vampire" on January 21. On February 18 he released his second single "The Eulogy of You and Me", which was co-written and produced by Travis Barker. April 22, 2021, released his third single "America’s Sweetheart", an emotional ballad about a breakup and its outcomes. The music video features a cameo from internet celebrity and dancer, Charli D'Amelio. On August 6, he released the single "Don't Freak Out" featuring Iann Dior, Travis Barker, and Tyson Ritter and announced his debut album Teenage Heartbreak which was then released on September 17, 2021.

Saosin

Saosin is an American rock band formed in Orange County, California in 2003, originally formed by Beau Burchell, Justin Shekoski, Zach Kennedy, and Anthony Green. The band released their first EP, Translating the Name in 2003. That same year original vocalist Anthony Green left Saosin due to personal reasons. In 2004, Cove Reber replaced Green as vocalist after auditioning for the role. With Reber, the group recorded its self-titled debut album which was released on Capitol Records on September 26, 2006. Their second studio album, In Search of Solid Ground, was released on September 8, 2009, on Virgin Records and contains three re-recorded tracks from The Grey EP. In 2010, Reber was dismissed from the band. In 2013, the band reformed with all original members, except Zach, and began touring. They released Along the Shadow, their third studio album and first studio album with original vocalist Anthony Green, on May 20, 2016, through Epitaph Records.

Saosin emerged at the beginning of the emo and post-hardcore scene in the early 2000s and has been regarded for their harmonizing vocals, lead guitar riffs with delays, and natural harmonics as a form of creating melodies.

Saosin has been described as post-hardcore, emo, and alternative rock.

The Starting Line

The Starting Line is an American pop-punk band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that formed in 1999.

In March 2008 the band announced in an e-mail and on Absolutepunk.net they would be going on a break in order for Ken and Brian to explore Person L, Matt and Tom to experiment with the group The Seventy Six, and Mike to spend time with his two daughters and also play with The Traded Series. Matt Watts is currently a band manager for Red Light Management, managing the band's Fake Problems, Like Lions, New Atlantic, and Hit The Lights. The band stated, "They will continue The Starting Line if and when the time is right."[9]

In April 2009, Kenny Vasoli hinted that The Starting Line may actually be returning sooner than 2011, saying "it's looking good, may even be earlier. I hung with Matt and Tom the other day, we all are still in love with one another." On November 10, 2009, The Starting Line released their first Live CD/DVD entitled "Somebody's Gonna Miss Us." The Live CD/DVD documents the band's formation and growth through their last tour and final show at Bamboozle 2008. In December 2009, The Starting Line had a reunion concert at the Theater of Living Arts. The Starting Line guitarist Matt Watts stated on the website AbsolutePunk, that "this doesn't mean that TSL is back together...It simply means that we're taking a break from our break, and wanted to play a fun show in Philadelphia and continue to focus on our lives outside of TSL" (Kohl 1). The Starting Line added a second-holiday show in Philadelphia at the Trocadero Theater due to the fact that the first-holiday show scheduled for sold out in a little over an hour and the band would like to give their local fans a better chance to see them. Towards the end of their set, Kenny Vasoli announced the band's reunion.

The band played the Australian Soundwave Festival in February 2011. Matt Watts explained that they "didn't want to pass up this opportunity to hang out, have fun, and play with some really great bands," but again stated, "this doesn't mean that TSL is back together and that we don't plan on doing a US tour any time in the near future." In May 2011, at Slam Dunk Records Leeds music festival, the band played a 50-minute set during which Kenny Vasoli announced "People keep asking us when we're getting back together, and the answer I have is yesterday. And what happens when bands get together? They write music. So, we have a new song for you." The song is entitled 'Luck'.

In late June 2012, the band posted a countdown timer on their website. Upon completion, the website was updated with information about a tour celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their debut album Say It Like You Mean It. The tour would include the band playing the entire album from start to finish. In 2012, frontman Kenny Vasoli formed a side band, Vacationer, which released their debut album, Gone, in June of that same year.

The Starting Line reunited once again for a Christmas show in 2013 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. On July 11, 2014, it was announced on the band's official website that they would be playing another holiday show on December 26, 2014, at the Trocadero in Philadelphia. According to an article on propertyofzack.com, Kenny Vasoli confirmed on stage that the band would be releasing new material in 2015. Said article also features a very low-quality video of a new song. On December 14, 2015, the band announced a new EP titled Anyways. The title track was released as the lead single on December 18, 2015. Anyways marked the band's first studio release in 9 years. After years of touring with the band, Schmutz was also confirmed as a full-time member.

Thursday

Thursday is an American post-hardcore band, formed in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 1997. The band currently consists of Geoff Rickly (lead vocals), Tom Keeley (lead guitar, backing vocals), Steve Pedulla (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Tim Payne (bass), and Tucker Rule (drums).

Thursday released their debut album, Waiting, in late 1999 with original guitarist Bill Henderson, who left the band in 2000 and was replaced by Steve Pedulla. The band gained popularity with the release of their second album, Full Collapse, in 2001, and released their third album and major-label debut, War All the Time, in 2003, which reached number seven on the US Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Thursday released their fourth album, A City by the Light Divided, in 2006, and two further albums, Common Existence (2009) and No Devolución (2011), before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2011. In a January 2013 interview, Geoff Rickly confirmed that the band had officially disbanded. However, the band announced a reunion in 2016 and performed a series of shows within the next few years. In October 2018, the band announced their reunion would conclude with a performance at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, New York on March 17, 2019; despite this, Thursday had played more shows by the end of 2019, and resumed activity as a band in the fall of 2021 with a series of live dates, including an appearance at Riot Fest in Chicago.

The band has been considered an influential band of the post-hardcore music scene in the 2000s, and is credited as one of the key bands to popularize the darker emo sound and screaming vocals which came to prominence at the time.

Despite the band's previous statement that their reunion would come to an end, it was announced in June 2020 that Thursday would play their first show in nearly two years at Riot Fest in September 2021. They also played a series of live shows that same month on the East Coast and Midwest with Taking Back Sunday and Piebald.

Between August 2020 and April 2021, the band shared three virtual performances entitled Signals. The first performance (V1) featured guest guitarist Frank Iero, and largely consisted of stripped-back versions of the band's songs. The second (V2) was a commemorative holiday show, with guests including Iero, Jim Ward, Walter Schriefels and Bartees Strange. The third and final performance (V3) saw the band performing Full Collapse and No Devolución in their entirety.

In June 2021, the band shared a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark" as part of an ongoing series of covers headed by the creative collective Two Minutes To Late Night.

In October 2021, the band was featured in Dan Ozzi's book Sellout: The Major Label Feeding Frenzy That Swept Punk, Emo, And Hardcore 1994–2007. A chapter on the band's major-label debut, Full Collapse, was included in the book, as well as a photo of the band performing live serving as the book's cover.

Anberlin

Anberlin is an American alternative rock band formed in Winter Haven, Florida in 2002. Since the beginning of 2007, the band consists of lead vocalist Stephen Christian, guitarists Joseph Milligan and Christian McAlhaney, bassist Deon Rexroat, and drummer Nathan Young.

Members of Anberlin originally formed a band under the name SaGoh 24/7 in 1998, releasing two studio albums before disbanding, with the members having a change in musical direction and name. Anberlin was formed in 2002; within a year of forming, they had signed with semi-independent record label Tooth & Nail Records and released their debut album, Blueprints for the Black Market. In 2005, the band released their second album, Never Take Friendship Personal. The band's third album, Cities, was released in 2007, and became their first album to reach the top 20 of the Billboard 200, selling 34,000 copies in its debut week.

Anberlin signed with major label Universal Republic in 2007 and in 2008 released New Surrender, which peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200, with the first single, "Feel Good Drag", claiming No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart, after 29 weeks in the chart Prior to the release of their fifth studio album, Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place, Anberlin had sold over 1,000,000 albums. Their sixth studio album Vital was released October 16, 2012, and rereleased on Big3 Records under the title Devotion a year later, October 15, 2013.

On January 16, 2014, it was announced that Anberlin would be disbanding in 2014 after recording their seventh and then-final studio album, Lowborn, on their original label, Tooth & Nail Records, and touring one last time. After performing concerts in late 2018, the group reunited to tour through 2019. In May 2020, Christian mentioned they were working on new material.

On October 18, 2018, the band announced that they would reunite for one show on December 14 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, as part of Underoath's Erase Me Tour.

In March 2019, it was announced that the band would perform a series of headlining shows across Australia in May 2019. In April 2019, the band announced a 22-stop U.S. tour. Young stated the band had no plans for a full comeback after the reunion shows. However, Christian revealed in May 2020 that they had reversed course and were in the process of recording new music.

On September 2, 2021, the band released their first new song in over seven years, "Two Graves" on their Youtube channel, and began touring two days later, September 4th, to promote the song.

TV Girl

TV Girl is an American indie pop band from San Diego, California, consisting of Brad Petering, Jason Wyman, and Wyatt Harmon. The group is now based in Los Angeles.

La Dispute

La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, formed in 2004. The current lineup is vocalist Jordan Dreyer, drummer Brad Vander Lugt, guitarist Chad Morgan-Sterenberg, guitarist Corey Stroffolino and bass guitarist Adam Vass.

The band released their debut album, Vancouver, in 2006 on Friction Records and then temporarily signed to Forest Life records where they released Here, Hear. and Untitled 7" in May 2008. Their second studio album Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair was released in conjunction with Here, Hear II. on No Sleep Records in November 2008. Here, Hear III. (2009), The Worth of the World (2010) and Never Come Undone (2011) then followed before releasing their third studio album, Wildlife (2011). Their fourth studio album, Rooms of the House, was released on March 18, 2014. Panorama, their fifth studio album, was released on March 22, 2019, almost exactly five years later.

On August 7, 2018, the band announced they would be releasing a re-worked version of Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair for the album's 10th anniversary. The re-issue featured newly processed versions of the original guitar and bass recordings, as well as a new mix and master. Alongside this announcement, the band also released a new version of "The Castle Builders" taken from the album and revealed they would be touring the United States with Circa Survive beginning in October 2018.

On September 17, it was announced that the band had signed to Epitaph Records for their fourth studio album, Panorama.

The first two songs from the album, Rose Quartz and Fulton Street I, premiered on December 4 via NPR's All Songs Considered and featured an animated music video by Sarah Schmidt.

On January 9, the 8th track "Footsteps at the Pond" was debuted with another animated music video by Daisy Fernandez.

Panorama was released on March 22, 2019. A remix album was released on December 25, 2019.

Armor for Sleep

Armor for Sleep is an American rock band from New Jersey. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Ben Jorgensen, lead guitarist PJ DeCicco, bassist Anthony DiIonno, and drummer Nash Breen.

After initial demos had been distributed, New York-based independent label Equal Vision Records signed the band and went on to release the concept-based albums, Dream to Make Believe (2003) and What to Do When You Are Dead (2005). The following year, the band signed to Sire Records and Warner Bros. and released their last album Smile for Them (2007). The band announced its disbandment in October 2009.

During their recording career, the band was known for their blend of alternative rock to atmospheric emo and dream pop.

On February 24, 2020, the band announced on Facebook that they would be reuniting for a summer tour including nineteen US cities to celebrate the 15th anniversary of What to Do When You Are Dead. The tour was later postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and on August 13, 2020, the band announced the new tour dates for 2021.

3OH!3

3OH!3 (pronounced "three oh three") is an American electronic music duo from Boulder, Colorado, made up of Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte. They are best known for their single "Don't Trust Me" from their album Want, which reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. Their second single, a remix of "Starstrukk" featuring Katy Perry from Want, was a top ten hit in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Poland, and Australia. They gained further recognition by featuring Kesha on the song "My First Kiss", which was made the lead single from their album Streets of Gold. The album later peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200.

During the fall of 2019, the duo teased new music on Instagram, and in November announced a March 3, also known as 303 Day, 2020 concert at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado. Denver-based bands VYNYL and Breathe Carolina, as well as Lil Jon were the openers. In January 2020, they started a weekly morning show called "Cup of JOH!" on Instagram Live in the build-up to the 303 Day concert, which continued on into August 2020. 303 Day was one of the last concerts hosted at the Mission Ballroom in 2020, with the venue postponing all future shows just ten days later due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On November 13, 2020, the band released a new song called "Lonely Machines" with duo 100 gecs which Wall of Sound described as a "cheeky, fun EDM anthem, taking you back to when "Don't Trust Me" was all over the radio.

State Champs

State Champs (stylized sometimes as STATE CHAMPS) is an American rock band from Albany, New York, formed in 2010. They are currently signed to Pure Noise Records and have released three EPs and three full-length albums. They released an acoustic EP titled The Acoustic Things in October 2014 and their second full-length album Around the World and Back one year later, in October 2015. In May 2017, they released a deluxe version of their album Around the World and Back, along with a DVD of footage from their last few tours. Their 2013 full-length, The Finer Things, debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. Their third album, Living Proof, was released on June 15, 2018.

Around late November 2017, Derek posted a picture on his Instagram with the caption "just finished recording vocals on the last song of the new record". Following this during early March 2018, State Champs posted what looked to be a set for a music video on their Instagram account. On April 11, 2018, the album artwork and tracklisting for Living Proof was leaked on various music websites. Later, on April 19, they released the lead single for the album, called "Dead and Gone", and announced that Living Proof would be released on June 15, 2018. On May 6, the band released the second single from the album, "Crystal Ball". On May 24, the group premiered the third single, "Mine Is Gold", on Billboard's website. On June 15, the album was released. On March 26th, 2020, the band announced that Tony Diaz would be stepping away from State Champs.

State Champs' style has been described as pop-punk. Their influences include The Starting Line, Blink-182, Sum 41, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, All Time Low, New Found Glory, The All-American Rejects, and Eighteen Visions.

Four Year Strong

Four Year Strong is an American pop-punk band from Worcester, Massachusetts, formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalists and guitarists Dan O'Connor and Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss, and drummer Jake Massucco. They have released six studio albums; their most recent album, Brain Pain, was released on February 28, 2020, through Pure Noise Records.

On January 14, 2020, the band announced their next album Brain Pain, which was released on February 28, 2020, through Pure Noise Records. The announcement was accompanied by the release of the first two singles from the album, "Talking Myself in Circles" and "Brain Pain."

The band's sound can be described as a blend of pop-punk and hardcore punk. The band simply developed their sound off the idea of playing 'exactly what they want to hear' or music that they would listen to, but no one else was playing at the time. The band's sound has been described as a ″combination of pop-punk energy, uplifting singalong choruses, and metalcore flourishes″. With ″assertive and (relatively speaking) intricate guitar lines and riffs″. This fusion between pop-punk and metalcore has been often labeled as "easycore", a style the band is considered to have popularized.

We the Kings

We the Kings is an American rock band from Bradenton, Florida. The band's self-titled full-length debut album, released in 2007, included the platinum single "Check Yes Juliet", and went on to sell over 250,000 copies in the US. The group's second album Smile Kid (2009) included Top 40 singles "Heaven Can Wait" and "We'll Be a Dream" (featuring Demi Lovato), as well as the single "She Takes Me High".

The band's third album Sunshine State of Mind was released in 2011 and featured the MTV Video Music Award winner for Most Innovative Music Video of the Year for the group's interactive music video and song "Say You Like Me". The band then completed a worldwide tour with Canadian band Simple Plan and performed across the US as a main stage headliner on the Vans Warped Tour. The group's fourth album Somewhere Somehow was released in late 2013 and includes singles "Just Keep Breathing", "Find You There", "Any Other Way", and "Art of War". Their fifth studio album, Strange Love, came out on November 20, 2015. It featured the single "Runaway".

We the King's music style has generally been regarded as pop-punk, pop-rock, alternative rock, emo, power pop, emo-pop, and pop.

The Wonder Years

The Wonder Years is an American pop-punk band from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, United States, that formed in July 2005. The band currently consists of Dan "Soupy" Campbell (lead vocals), Casey Cavaliere (lead guitar, backing vocals), Matt Brasch (guitar, vocals), Josh Martin (bass, vocals), Nick Steinborn (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals) and Mike Kennedy (drums, percussion). They have released six full-length albums, two EPs, and several splits/compilations. The group is currently signed to Hopeless Records. Their name originates from a paper that leads vocalist, Dan 'Soupy' Campbell, read that was written by one of his after-school educators titled "The Wonder Years."

On October 23, 2020, the single "Brakeless" was released on the 10th anniversary of their album The Upsides, revisiting older, pop-punk tunes. The song was released upon the success of the band's get-out-the-vote challenge to register 1000 voters by October 20.

The Wonder Years has been described as pop-punk, alternative rock, and emo-pop. Get Stoked on It! has been described as pop-punk. The Upsides has been described as emo pop and pop-punk. Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing has been described as melodic hardcore and pop-punk. The Greatest Generation has been described as pop-punk. No Closer to Heaven has been described as alternative rock and pop-punk. Sister Cities has been described as indie rock, post-hardcore, and rock.

Campbell, in a Let's Play with Achievement Hunter, said that Motion City Soundtrack was "a huge influence" for the band. In an interview with Alternative Press, he also cited Blink-182, Inkling, and The Get Up Kids as influences.

Rock Sound wrote that on The Upsides Campbell sang about "His early twenties soul-searching and tales of strife" which "resonated with a [new] generation, inspiring countless imitators in the process. "This pushed Campbell to "the forefront of a new wave", and the album influenced a new wave of pop-punk bands. The Wonder Years have been listed as a big influence for the British band As It Is.

Royal and the Serpent

Ryan Santiago (born May 25, 1994), known professionally as Royal & the Serpent, is an American singer and songwriter. At the age of 18, Santiago moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a bartender in a restaurant. She has credited encouragement from a co-worker, who later became her first manager, for motivating her to pursue a professional career as a musician.

In 2017, Santiago independently released "Temperance", her debut single under the stage name Royal & the Serpent. On her moniker, she has explained that "'Royal & the Serpent' translates to 'Me + My Ego'". In 2018, she released her second single, "Together", and was featured on the song "Wicked" by music producer Tommee Profitt. By the end of 2019, she had signed with Atlantic Records.

"Overwhelmed", Royal & the Serpent's first single on Atlantic, was released in June 2020, and her debut EP Get a Grip was released in October. That year, she joined English singer Yungblud's Weird Time of Life virtual tour as a supporting act. Royal & the Serpent's second EP Searching for Nirvana was released in June 2021.

The Ready Set

Jordan Mark Witzigreuter (born November 14, 1989), known professionally as Onlychild and formerly as The Ready Set, is an American singer-songwriter from Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. He is the lead vocalist and sole member of the act, using a backup band while on tour. He has released five studio albums, Syntax, and Bright Lights, Tantrum Castle, I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming, The Bad & the Better, and I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love, eight extended plays, and fourteen singles. He is best known for the commercially successful single "Love Like Woe" from his major-label debut I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming.

As of July 2019, Witzigreuter has begun a new project, now using the name "Onlychild." He has released twelve singles and a four-track EP Solstice under this name.

Witzigreuter is also a part of the synthpop band Nekokat, alongside Cameron Walker, and Jess Bowen of The Summer Set.

In 2021, in collaboration with Cameron Walker-Wright, Witzigreuter created the music label Swim Team Records. The company has featured a multitude of artists such as Future Coyote, TALKBAK, and Casey Abrams. The label's music has been featured in a promotion for things such as the PGA Tour.

In mid-2019, Witzigreuter adopted a new name, Onlychild. He would release his first EP "Solstice" under that name on July 27, 2019. In 2020, he released a non-album single Chardonnay and Tangerine in May. On October 23, 2020, Witzigreuter released another single Thank Me Later. On April 16, 2021, he released his new single Sad Fantasy which featured Panic! at The Disco guitarist, Mike Naran.

In 2021, Witzigreuter and Nekokat collaborator Cameron Walker contributed writing credits to the single "Rock with You" on South Korean band Seventeen's mini-album Attacca.

Hawthorne Heights

Hawthorne Heights, formerly A Day in the Life, is an American rock band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2001. Their lineup currently consists of JT Woodruff (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Matt Ridenour (bass guitar, backing vocals), Mark McMillon (lead guitar, unclean backing vocals), and Chris Popadak (drums, percussion).

On November 24, 2007, rhythm guitarist and unclean backing vocalist Casey Calvert died, leaving the band as a four-piece. In June 2014 it was announced the departure of original drummer Eron Bucciarelli. On January 20, 2015, it was announced that Micah Carli (lead guitar, unclean backing vocals) had left the band as well.

The band found success with both of their first two albums, their 2004 release, The Silence in Black and White, and their 2006 album, If Only You Were Lonely, both achieving Gold certification. Their second album additionally peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard's Independent Albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 charts. They are also well known for their 2006 single "Saying Sorry", which reached Gold status and peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart. The band's third album, Fragile Future, was released on August 5, 2008, surprisingly through Victory Records again, after a lengthy legal battle between the two parties.

Hawthorne Heights released their fourth studio album with Wind-up Records (who also represent popular acts such as Evanescence, Creed, and Cartel) on June 1, 2010. The album's title is Skeletons, and it peaked at No. 50 on the Billboard 200. The band's former label, Victory, released a Hawthorne Heights "greatest hits" album, entitled Midwesterners: The Hits, on November 9, 2010. Shortly afterward, Hawthorne Heights left Wind-up Records to begin their own record label, Cardboard Empire. Via this new label, the band released an EP trilogy, beginning with Hate released on August 23, 2011, and followed by Hope released on June 5, 2012.

After signing with Red River Entertainment in 2013, the band postponed the release of the third EP in the trilogy and released a full-length concept album titled Zero on June 25, 2013. The band played on the 2013 Vans Warped Tour. In September 2015, the band released Hurt, the third EP of the trilogy. The band's seventh LP, titled Bad Frequencies followed in 2018.

Hawthorne Heights released their 8th full-length album titled The Rain Just Follows Me on September 10, 2021, via Pure Noise Records.

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is an American rock band that was formed in Middleburg, Florida, in 2003. The band has released five studio albums to date. The current members are Ronnie Winter (lead vocals), Joey Westwood (bass), Josh Burke (lead guitar), Randy Winter (rhythm guitar), Daniel Resnick (keys), and John Espy (drums).

The band is best known for the material from their 2006 major-label release Don't You Fake It. The lead single "Face Down" became their biggest success, and "False Pretense" and "Your Guardian Angel" were strong follow-up hits for the band. Don't You Fake It is the band's only RIAA-certified record, and all of its singles have also received awards from the institution.

On March 15, 2013, the band released an EP titled Et Tu, Brute?. The EP was produced by David Bendeth (producer of Don't You Fake It). Prior to its release, the band released two of the songs on their page.

On October 11, 2013, the band revealed their fourth studio album, titled 4, was 'coming soon' via their Facebook page. They also revealed that David Bendeth would be producing the LP. Three days later, again through Facebook, the band announced Matt Carter was returning to the band and would be playing lead guitar for 4. On January 1, 2014, the band announced that 4, as well as the rest of their discography, would be released on July 4, 2014.

This band planned to perform their first rock show in India at the 2016 edition of Saarang, the cultural fest of IIT Madras, on January 9, 2016. In a November 27 post on their official Instagram page, RJA announced their anniversary tour dates. They were one of the first official bands announced for 2017's Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio.

In an April 2017 interview, Winter said that after their anniversary tour, the band would head to the studio in southern California to record The Awakening. It would be co-produced by him and his wife and was to be released in the same year. However, according to coverage by Alternative Press of a post and comments on the band's Facebook page in July 2017, the new record would be released in 2018, along with a new single and tour in the fall of 2017. It was released on March 30, 2018.

In September 2018 an Australian tour was announced to be taking place in December of the same year featuring support from Australian band The Comfort. In December 2018, the band surprised dropped a new song entitled "Land Down Under" which later was confirmed to be a cover song by Men At Work.

On August 28, 2020, the band released The Emergency EP containing two previously released singles from 2020, Brace Yourself and A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Called LA along with four new tracks.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has generally been regarded as alternative rock, pop-punk, emo, post-hardcore, screamo, and emo-pop.

Horrorpops

HorrorPops are a Danish punk band that formed in 1996. The band's sound is rooted in psychobilly, rockabilly, and punk rock.

The band soon relocated from Denmark to Los Angeles, California. The band's second album, Bring It On!, was released on September 13, 2005, and featured their new rhythm guitarist, Geoff Kresge. The HorrorPops spent most of 2006 touring Canada, Asia, Europe, and the States, including a Warped Tour stint. Kresge left the group before the band's next album, bringing the group back to three members.

Their third album, released on February 5, 2008, is called Kiss Kiss Kill Kill. The band began a North American tour around the time the album was released. They began the tour with an electric show in San Luis Obispo, CA, USA where they have a fairly loyal following and are currently touring with two bands from Los Angeles, CA. Their opening bands include Rocket, which is an all-female band, and The Pink Spiders, a pop-punk band. They are on Vans Warped Tour all summer. After the release of Kiss Kiss Kill Kill, they began to have a much larger fan base.

On 23 December 2010, Patricia Day filed a lawsuit in an Indianapolis federal court against the Hard Rock casino, charging infringement of the right of publicity and false endorsement. In her lawsuit, the HorrorPops singer claimed Hard Rock and Mattel had been selling a Barbie doll in her image without her authorization.

Mattel and Hard Rock have released a series of rock ‘n’ roll-themed Barbies, featuring pioneering female musicians such as Debbie Harry of Blondie, Joan Jett, and Cyndi Lauper. In the lawsuit, it is alleged that another doll, called the “Hard Rock Café Barbie Doll" or the “Rockabilly Barbie,” is made in the image of the HorrorPops lead singer but without direct acknowledgment of nor permission by Patricia Day.

Meet Me at the Altar

Meet Me at the Altar (stylized as Meet Me @ the Altar) is an American pop-punk band formed in 2015. Initially, the three members—all of whom lived in different states at the time—worked on music remotely through the internet. The band went on their first tour in 2018 and was signed by Fueled by Ramen in 2020.

The band's musical style is commonly described as pop-punk. Some publications have compared their musical style to another female-fronted pop-punk band, Paramore.

Prentiss

Prentiss epitomizes authenticity. The 14-year-old artist from Jackson, Mississippi, makes songs that have caught the attention of Justin Beiber, Skrillex, Meghan Trainor, and blink-182’s Mark Hoppus. Even when classmates did not support his experimental songs at first, the curly-haired, fresh-faced talent refused to compromise and pushed onward. Since 2020’s “October,” Prentiss has earned social support from Barstool Sports, daquan, and redevil, along with a rapidly growing following from top music peers. Now signed to Cinematic Music Group and finishing his debut EP, Prentiss is captivating listeners with personal lyrics, catchy melodies, and dynamic flows.

Prentiss Furr is a self-taught artist who dabbled in illustration and video editing before exploring music. In 2020, he hit a creative stride after he began using his real name. "Rock With It" showed a teenager's lofty dreams with moments of blunt honesty—staying in his lane regardless of what anybody says. "October" found Prentiss swirling influences and genres together with heartfelt songwriting. These songs and others caught on. Now with a respected team around him, Prentiss maintains his creative control, and the young visionary prepares to deliver more of himself to his rapidly growing fan base.
