Dev Gajan Releases 'These things I’ve started' featuring mackned & Gucciboytoy

 

Dev Gajan has been in the spotlight before on Heavy Vibe, with the last release showcased being his "Blasphemy" EP.  Now he's back up with the new release of his song  'These things I’ve started' featuring mackned & Gucciboytoy. 

Reaching out to Dev to get a little insight about the song, getting some cool responses into the making of the song, and how the song came to be with the combo of artists.

"Well, it was made with live instruments, it brings back the “old GBC vibes” while being something fresh and new. I reached out to Mackned and he said after looking and hearing me once at me he fucked with my style and was willing to do a track with me even though he doesn’t do very many features.  

We actually added the guitars last, which were influenced by fall out boy type production and other early 2000s pop-punk. With mackned’s usual slurred spoken-word style, complimented with my more DMV influenced flow (DMV is where I’m from. DC, Maryland, Virginia area) and Gucciboytoy wraps it up smoothly."
